Excellent staff!!! My son and I did a 100K tune up on his 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 and I opted for a "cheap" optispark distributor in place of getting a quality one, replaced all the wires and plugs and put it all back together only to find out the "cheap" distributor was bad. At this point we were 7 hour into the tune up I decided to take it to a mechanic and let him do it because working on it with a lift is a lot easier than on jack stands. I did some quick research on mechaincs in the area and decided on Bowles. I had it towed out on a Saturday and they told me it would be Wednesday before they could get to it, but would try sooner. Tuesday they called me and told me the news that I need another optispark. After looking around and finding the cheapest one at $199 I decided to rebuild my old distributor, I cleaned it up, replaced the cap and rotor and took it to them, they had it installed on Wednesday and the car back to us the next day. The mechanics there are quick and very good at what they do, I looked the craftsmanship on the reassembly and everything looked neatly done. Ricky was the guy I spoke to when I took it in and he was very nice and even offered us a water for the ride home, because it was pretty hot that day. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone looking for a quality repair at a slightly better than average price. Most of the work is out of the book and what they rate the time to replace/repair. So it really isnt a mark against them. I took my car in for clutch issues several months ago, it was not shifting at all. Rick and the guys tried to get it to work and they did, they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and charged me nothing, since then I have had a transmission flush, brake system flush and a number of other small repairs on both my vehicles there and nothing but great service. My last service included looking at it for the clutch pedal bracket which became a warranty issue and instead of them fixing it they recommended me to check with the manufacturer which got it fixed for free, thanks for the great advice and service, Will definitely come here for my next service over going to the dealership which has made me suspicious of their ethical practices. - Jeff R (5 star review found on Google)
